With games on Tuesday and Thursday this will be a hectic week but we could really use a few more people at our meeting this month.
Meeting Agenda: Team Dinners -we have October 11th and 24th planned, but our dinner for the girls at the Peninsula game was a big success so we may want to reconsider doing one or both of the remaining dinners at an away game – C team parents we’d love your input!
Senior Night – need a few volunteers. Senior night is the October 25 – our last home game, we need volunteers to help decorate the gym, paint the rock and play photographer for that night. We do a presentation before the game where the parents are called out to the court to meet their Senior player on their last home game. We put together posters and a program for the girls and all of the other players are out on the court to form a tunnel that the Senior players walk through.
Parents of Senior players – last year we did posters that included a scrap book page for the girls to keep, so we need pictures of your players – send them to me electronically or give a photo before October 20.
Banquet – we anticipate the banquet being November 7, 8 or 9, we should have a firm date from Coach Baker shortly, we need volunteers to help decorate(table arrangements, general decoration and the silent auction tables)
We also need donations for the silent auction at the banquet – get creative – our family will do a movie night – 4 tickets to Theater & Candy, do you have Professional Sports tickets you would like to donate?, have a business that could donate a gift card or services? – Thank you and see you at the meeting!
